Many people are interested in finding out more about their ancestry. We are now offering a service to both visitors and non-vistors alike which can help in the investigations in the UK and Ireland.

If you suspect that you have ancestors that lived in the UK or Ireland, then please e-mail info@fabproperties.co.uk to provide us with some initial information. If you are agreeable, we can make some outline enquiries and if possible, provide some additional detail. Any initial findings can be provided for £50. Obviously, further investigations would be chargeable in proportion to the work effort, but we would always check back to see whether this would be OK. We could, for example visit the location where your relative stayed, provide you with some pictures and give some background to the area. We may even be able to trace neighbours.

Being based in Central Scotland, and familiar with the country, we can help to do some advance planning so that if you do decide to visit, your journey and ancestry investigations will be as efficient as possible. We can also visit locations further afield in the UK and Ireland if required.
